A little bit of snow

Nothing too exciting has been happening to me since I last updated, I've been mainly focusing on school work and EATING, don't worry, not too much I don't plan on gaining the freshman 15. I have a "meal plan" for school which means that I can use my student ID to get food during the week. I have the least amount of meals possible, 10 per 7 days. My mom was worried that wasn't enough, "you can't even eat twice a day, most days" is what I heard from most. Our meals restart which a new 10 every saturday and I'll have you know that last week on friday, I had 9 left to use before the next day! I hadn't used any because I was too scared to go get food from the cafeteria alone, or as we call it here "the marketplace", This week I decided to get over my fear, get food alone, and do homework while I ate. This ended up working out perfectly for me since I'm done with classes by 12:30 everyday allowing me to grab lunch right after and review notes, This friday when I checked my meals, I only had four left before saturday (:

Another big thing happened to me this week.. I did my own laundry for the first time! Back at home I had never done it and wasn't quite sure how, my awesome roommate Britni took it upon herself to teach me and we had a fun-filled night of, laundry, taking garbage cans out, cleaning and vacuuming our room...all we needed to do was make dinner and we'd be some regular housewives!

We also got our first snowfall since I've been at school, I was telling everyone from illinois about the "blizzard" and every time i'd say that my roommates would laugh and say that is wasn't even close to one.
This is what my windshield looked like after going into a store for less than 10 minutes!

A lot different than being in utah in the summer, it was 100 this day!

Although the snow did keep me from driving anywhere it did offer me some fun, There is an all boys suite next to mine and the two boys who's bedroom is just a wall away from mine often play loud music and knock on the wall to see if we are home and probably more so just to bother..because like I said, they're boys. Last night my suite-mate Carly and I went outside to play in the snow with our "knocking neighbors" Matt and Jordan, we had a great time and snow was perfect for packing!
